Choose low friction conveyors.

When choosing the conveyor pay attention for the friction of the conveyor belt.  The conveyor shown in adjacent picture is equipped with ball bearings which needs 50% less energy as outwardly same conveyors with sliding conveyor belt.

Roller conveyors are also very energy efficient, because one drive can operate for long distances. In case of accumulation, the drive belt can be removed from the roll(s) and thus save energy. Also, roller conveyors are therefore called roller friction conveyors .

How can I save packaging material?

The amount of packaging material can be influenced by the packaging design, the thickness of the shrink film and the amount of the material used for pallet wrapping.
